Lymphoma Symptoms
There are no characteristic symptoms
In most cases, the disease is detected by accident during routine examination or when serious symptoms occur. The disease is usually creepy. The following symptoms can give hints:
Swelling of lymph nodes
A swelling of the lymph nodes usually occurs with a simple infection. However, such swelling should reform after the infection has decayed.
The first signs of malignant lymphoma can be the swelling of several lymph nodes, e.g. on the neck, lower jaw or in the armpits. If the swelling lasts longer than 2 weeks and pressure with your finger on the swelling does not hurt, a doctor should be visited.
Performance weakness
Performance kink, fatigue and lack of appetite are only unspecific signs. They can be associated with changes in the image of the picture.
Unclear pressure pain, swelling
Pressure pain can also occur due to swelling that is not tactile. This is the case, for example, when the spleen and the liver are swollen due to Lymphomzellenbefall (Splenomegaly and Hepatomegaly). Very large lymphomas can also press on vessels and nerves, which can lead to malfunctions and pressure sensation.
Complaints caused by impairment of blood formation
If the bone marrow is affected by lymphoma, blood formation may be disturbed. This can be noticeable in an increased susceptibility, for example by a decreased number of leukocytes, on the other in reduced resilience, fatigue and driveability, e.g. by a degraded amount of red blood cells and Platelets. Also possible are spot bleeding in the skin, a tendency to bruises or nasal bleeding.
B-Symptoms
These include symptoms such as frequent and persistent fever with more than 38 degrees, nocturnal sweating, and unwanted weight loss of more than 10 percent of the body weight.
